Location: For this role we are open to remote work located anywhere within the United States or Canada.

About the Position:Ceridian is looking for a self-starting, highly motivated Senior Visual Designer to join our Design Studio organization, a team that goes beyond a traditional innovation lab and explores other ways to support our growing product, design, and technology teams here at Ceridian.

This team will be at the center of our Design organization, working with our research, product, and technology leaders to execute innovative rapid prototyping, based on rich research insights and solutions that are centered around our users.

Design at Ceridian is transforming from a legacy approach to enterprise software to a contemporary, user- and human-centered practice, recognizing that even HR and workforce management tools should look and work more like consumer software.

Responsibilities:

• Make compelling and thoughtful designs considering its usage across multiple channels and devices; web, mobile, print, wearables.
• A compelling storyteller through visual designs
• Articulate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visually.
• Build pixel perfect and responsive designs/ prototypes for websites and campaign pages which follow design system and brand attributes
• Work collaboratively with other designers to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.
• Translate business requirements, user needs, technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, easy to use, and emotionally engaging.
• Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design field.

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
• Proven experience in creating visually elegant user interfaces employing graphics, typography, photography, iconography, color, and brand elements
• The ability to refine other people’s ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience.
• Well organized, responsible, and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined design in a short time.
• Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment.
• Proven ability delivering high quality designs
• Proficient in Adobe CC, Figma, and other relevant design tools.
• Experience with transitions, animation, motion design and dynamic interaction
• Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills, along with presentation skills
• The ability to effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously
• A standout colleague; loves to work with cross-functional teams in understanding the detailed requirement and aligning the needs to business/ product vision.
• Has a deep understanding of visual design standard, typography, layout, iconography, and colors.
